World map or a country map?
You choose the map when you start an airline, and it stays with the world for good.
- World is the planet's major airports. Build hubs and a global long-haul network.
- A country or region — India, the United States, China, Brazil, Indonesia, Australia or Europe — has every airport a domestic airline flies, including the smaller cities the world map leaves out. Short sectors, lots of frequency, and rivals based in that country's big cities.
You can only open hubs, routes and technical stops at airports on your map. Friends who join your world play on the same map, and the public world is always on the world map.
Borders. A country map can open up as you grow. Neighbouring countries — everything within 2,500 km, so the Gulf and South-East Asia from India, Canada and the Caribbean from the United States — open at 10 aircraft and a share of your country's airports served; the whole world at 30 aircraft and a bigger share. Overview shows exactly what yours needs and how close you are. Once open, a border stays open, and your home rivals stay home. Untick Open borders as the airline grows when you start to keep the world domestic for good.
