Can I see other airlines on the map?

Yes. The Mine only menu at the top switches to Everyone, or Choose airlines… to pick. Each airline gets its own colour; its routes are drawn thin under yours, a little bolder where it flies a route you fly too, and its bases are rings. Click a line for who flies it and since when.

In a world with friends or in the public world you see the other players; in any world you see the computer-run carriers. You see where they fly and where they are based — never their fares, cash or profit.

Watching them grow. Press History under the map for a time slider: drag it to any day, or press play to watch every network spread from the start — yours always, the others as the menu chooses. The Rivals tab has growth charts (routes, aircraft, passengers, level) in the same colours. Before the game kept daily records, a network is rebuilt from the routes still open, so routes closed back then do not show.
